Michelin Serbian tire factory expands production

Michelin and the Serbian city government of pirot recently signed a memorandum of understanding on the expansion of tire production. Michelin plans to invest US $227million in its Serbian subsidiary tigar tire company in the next five years in order to avoid flying out of the samples and hurting people, and expand the tire production capacity of Piro special factory from the current annual output of 8million to 12million. This expansion is expected to start from the beginning of 2013. If not, it will be completed in the middle of 2015, when 700 new jobs will be created. The company said that the tires produced after the expansion will be mainly supplied to the fast-growing markets of Russia, central and Eastern Europe, Africa and the Middle East
